{racingfixtures|Pontefract}
From April through October, Pontefract Races are the place to be in West Yorkshire. This famous racecourse is one of the busiest in the United Kingdom and more than supplying a wealth of excitement and all the powerful grace, talent, skill and aleatory opportunities to make a fortune, it is one of the few tracks in the United Kingdom to offer such a variety of flexible packages for those venturing through the turnstiles.

There are those who come simply to enjoy Pontefract Races in their most traditional form, to pick their winners and wait for the exhilarating charge to the finishing post and then venture back to the parade ring when the horses for the next event are being trotted around.

Pontefract Races, inside rail While the knowing punter will find themselves extremely welcome and catered for at Pontefract Races, they are only a proportion of those who come to experience the myriad pleasures and distractions which surround every one of the meetings.

The ticket is available for £16 and grants 2 adults and any number of children under 16 access to the Grandstand and Paddock Enclosure.

Additionally, there are always entertainments Family Days. It should be noted that the Family Tickets are not for the Picnic Enclosure Car Park, although once in the Grandstand and Paddock Enclosure, kids will be allowed into the picnic area to enjoy the entertainments.
